These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Kurio. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. These terms are written as a beta-stage baseline and may be revised as Kurio matures.

1. Eligibility

Kurio is intended for use by parents or guardians and for child use under parental supervision. By creating an account, you represent that you are authorized to do so for yourself and your child.

2. Service Description

Kurio provides a child-safe AI chat experience, parent-facing summaries, and related safety or learning features. Some features may be limited, experimental, or available only on certain plans.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use Kurio for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
You may not attempt to bypass safety filters or misuse the system.
You may not use the service to generate harmful, sexual, violent, or exploitative content involving children.

4. Parent Supervision

Kurio is a supportive tool and does not replace parental judgment, school instruction, medical advice, therapy, or crisis services. Parents remain responsible for supervising a child’s use and deciding how to act on any product insight.

5. AI Limitations

Kurio uses AI systems that may occasionally produce incomplete, inaccurate, or overly broad responses. Parent insights, learning trends, and support signals are informational only and should not be treated as clinical, medical, psychological, or educational diagnosis.

6. Safety Controls

Kurio may refuse, block, log, or escalate certain content categories in order to protect children, parents, and the service. We may limit or suspend access if we detect abuse, misuse, or elevated risk.

7. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

8. Payments and Plans

Paid plans, if activated, may include recurring billing, usage limits, and feature restrictions based on subscription tier. Specific pricing and billing terms may be shown separately in the product or checkout flow.

9. Availability

Kurio may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, especially during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kurio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if safety risks arise, or if continued access would threaten the service or its users.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions over time. Continued use of Kurio after updates means you accept the revised terms.
